Adventure

When we have everything we need, we tend to grow weary with boredom. That is dangerous because when we start saying, "I am so tired," to ourselves, we may receive the gift of an early release. Sometimes death comes suddenly, but usually, it is a gradual winding down as life force trickles away. Growing more "tired" over time is a slow way to die.

I imagine the appeal of risky sports is the feeling of intense aliveness. But when thrill-seekers return home, what happens then? Does the "tired" creep in again?

My solution is purpose. I need to understand my gifts and use them to help others. Challenges are essential to keep us growing and expanding. We need to show life how much we really want to live.

Are you tired? What do you need?
