"What do you mean you have sparks?" The old man asked in an accusing tone.
"Well, it's when you light up on the inside when you see someone special, and they feel it too," I gushed enthusiastically.
The dead look on his weary face told me he'd never felt a spark in his life.
Some people spark. Others think of relationships as business deals - I'll do this if you do that, and we'll pretend to be happy until we die.
Sparks are about sharing spontaneous joy with a kindred spirit. It's a life-affirming, unmistakable, "I see you" moment that draws us in to explore a deeper connection.
