Ride the Waves of Agitation

Writer's picture: Catherine NortonCatherine Norton

This part of a washing machine is called an agitator. It stirs soapy water through fabric flushing out dirt so it can be rinsed away.

An agitator in society points out problems, stirs things up, maybe even starts a rebellion.

And agitation within ourselves is an impulse that something needs to change.

Agitation may feel unwelcome, but it is a friend reminding us that nothing is permanent. Clinging to the way things were and resisting change is a form of living death.

Riding the waves of change shouting, "Woo hoo!" is much more fun!
