When someone tries to provoke us, we are presented with a choice in how to respond.
A few years ago, someone I barely knew complained my ringtone was "depressing." I could have responded in many ways, including the classic, "Your face is depressing." Instead, I chuckled at how childish they were.
The uplifting piano melody was Mozart - my favorite composer.
